INSURANCE

I am a preferred provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Lifewise, ODS (MODA), MHN and Tri-Care health plans, and can bill most other insurance plans as an out-of-network provider.  I routinely work with the Crime Victim Compensation Program in several States.

EXPERIENCE

Quality therapists continue with their own professional growth through education, consultation, and personal therapy.  This has been on-going throughout my career, and presently I focus much of my attention on trauma, complicated grief and mindfulness.  My education includes a Master of Social Work from Portland State University in 1990, and a Bachelor’s Degree in both Criminal Justice and Psychology from Western Oregon State College in 1988. 

My work experience has included therapy and counseling in Residential Treatment, a Domestic  Violence Shelter, and the areas of Adoption and Foster Care.  I have also been employed as a Hospice Social Worker, and as a Juvenile Probation Officer.  Presently I provide therapy in my own Practice, do volunteer work for OAASIS, and participate in many animal rescue projects.

Licensed as an LCSW in both Oregon and Washington State, I have been treating therapy  clients for over 25 years.  As the former owner of Mosaic Counseling Associates, I recently decided to open an independent practice.  At this time, I am seeing both children and adult therapy clients, with a wide variety of concerns. I am a member of NWADEBS, and do volunteer work for OAASIS.
